Ordering

Do I have to order a minimum?
No. One puck is fine. Golf balls are sold by the dozen because that is how they come.

Do I see it before it is printed?
Yes, always. We send a proof on every order and nothing goes on a puck or a ball until you approve it. That is also your chance to catch a spelling.

How long does it take?
The proof usually reaches you within two working days. After you approve it, about a week for a single order and about ten days for a full team. The step that varies is how long the proof sits in your inbox.

When do Christmas orders close?
30 November. A team is about ten days from an approved proof and the proof has to come back to us first, so do not leave it to the last week.

Can I pick up instead of paying shipping?
Yes - 211 McAllister Avenue North, Porcupine Plain. Choose pickup at checkout.

What does shipping cost?
Free in Canada on orders of $75 or more, $12.00 below that, $20.00 for express. See shipping and pickup for the United States and for timings.

Teams

How does team pricing work?
$24.99 each, $22.99 at six or more, $18.99 at twelve or more. Ten or eleven pucks are quoted at the twelve-puck price, because twelve costs less than eleven - send the extra names and we print them.

How do we order for a whole team?
Use the team builder. Paste the roster in, pick the style and colours, and send it. You get one proof covering the whole roster, one invoice, and one box sorted in roster order.

Do the families each pay separately?
Not usually. The manager collects and pays once, which is far less work for everyone. We can do it the other way if you would rather.

Can we have coach and staff pucks?
Yes. They get a word where the number goes - COACH, MANAGER, TRAINER, up to nine letters.

The product

Can I actually shoot the puck?
Please do not. These are display and keepsake pucks. Printed graphics wear - a puck used for real play will scuff, scratch, dull and in time lose print. That is what happens to any printed puck. If you want one to shoot, buy a blank and keep this one on the shelf.

What if my team's colours are not in the picker?
Tell us what they are and we will match them. The twenty-four in the picker are a starting point, not a limit.

Do accented names print properly?
Yes. CÔTÉ and HRYNIUK come out as they should rather than getting stripped or substituted.

What about a long surname?
Anything past about eleven letters prints smaller. We flag it on your proof rather than shrinking it quietly.

Will the colour match what I see on screen?
Closely, not exactly. Printed colour varies slightly from screen and the black rubber affects how lighter shades read. The proof shows layout and colour placement rather than a colour match.

Artwork

Can you print our team crest?
If you have the right to use it, yes - check with your association first. We do not reproduce professional team marks or lettering systems. See the artwork guidelines.

What file should I send?
A vector file if you have one, otherwise a PNG at 1000 pixels or more with a transparent background. Send it to sales@printaballs.ca and we will tell you whether it will work before you order.
